Game Weekends/Days
We offer a range of game shooting opportunities at Craigmore which can be tailored to individual needs.. Game available at Craigmore and at Babers Block up in the Hunter Hills include: pheasants, wallabies, deer, rabbits, hares and possums.
Father and Son Weekends
Weekends will begin with gun safety training. We also offer clay target shooting tuition, rifle target shooting, trap management, wallaby shooting, night shooting, feeding pheasants and stalking.
There would also be the possibility of visiting Maori rock art on Craigmore and seeing various farm and domestic animals.
Weekend Shooting Party
Clay shooting, game bird shooting in season, night shooting and wild game, and stalking. Guided visits to the ancient Maori Rock Art is also available.
There are various options available for accommodation from the Craigmore Homestead which can be fully catered if required, or the luxurious nearby Holme Station or nearby in Timaru.
Fathers and Sons Weekend
Ladies Day
Depending on the group there could be clay shooting, gun safety training and mini driven shooting with lunch at the homestead.
High Country Game
There is a possibility of shooting wallabies at Babers Block and we can arrange for guided deer shooting (fallow and red deer).
Clay Bird Shooting
Recommended for getting your eye in before duck shooting or a pheasant shoot.
A great idea for corporate entertaining, for pre-Xmas entertainment, for a friends/family re-union or for a ladies’ day out.
